About / Rodon

A place for the work, and what shaped it.

Rodon brings together digital products, intelligent systems, experiments, writing, and collaborations. The finished result matters, but so do the decisions, failures, and discoveries behind it.

Origin

An umbrella for work in motion.

The name found its first use in Rodon Workspace, then gradually grew to encompass the projects, experiments, writing, and ideas around it.

  1. Make useful digital tools and systems rather than collecting disconnected concepts.
  2. Publish progress and technical decisions while the work is still evolving.
  3. Keep room for experiments that do not yet belong to a finished category.
  4. Take on selected collaborations when the problem and working relationship feel right.
01

Products and systems

Working software, interfaces, infrastructure, and tools that solve a problem clearly enough to become part of everyday work.

02

Experiments

Prototypes and investigations used to understand an idea before deciding what it should become.

03

Journal and process

Progress notes, architecture decisions, mistakes, revisions, and the reasoning that finished case studies usually remove.

04

Collaborations

Selected work with people who need design, product thinking, and engineering to meet in one coherent process.

The finished thing matters. So do the choices, mistakes, and discoveries that made it possible.
